“Snap a picture. Take your treasure.”

The Challenge: Stand out in the overly-saturated event photo industry in the tourist-heavy town of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The Solution: Detailed research unearthed a goldmine of fun elements to work into this brand. Cabo has a modern reputation for being a party town, an emotion I was determined to tap into. What I didn’t know was that Cabo’s reputation has some basis in history. Since the founding of the town in the mid 16th century, pirates have used the port-town for wild parties and extended bouts of debauchery. Every time we sit on the beach and sip margaritas we’re just channeling the original p-aaaarrrr-ty animals (see what I did there?) of Cabo.

With pirates as the guiding narrative, I developed a name, tagline and a unique illustrative style around the theme of capturing your treasured moments (single tear). Then I wrapped it in a nice shiny bow of butt jokes.
